Space Invaders III will be located at Orion in downtown Los Angeles, at the corner of 8th and Spring Streets. We are really looking forward to bringing you the biggest Orion event since the beginning of June. We have fond memories of all the dope four room Orion parties that have gone down, as we know those of you who have attended many of them also share. We will be fully decorating Orion as we always do, going all out to bring you the best event we know how. Holding the party at Orion will also enable us to go until 8 AM, which no other venue in all of LA can do. We hope you will join us!
THE 26C PAINTBALL GAMES
COME PLAY PAINTBALL WITH 26C! On Sunday September 22nd (2:00 to 10:00 PM),
we will be hosting the first ever 26C paintball games. Your
ticket includes both SI3 on the night of Saturday September 21 and
paintball on Sunday September 22. The paintball event on Sunday
includes paintball field admission, rental of a paintball marker
and mask, a starter supply of paintballs, and playing lessons.
OPEN DECK DAY PARTY JUST ADDED! All afternoon during the paintball event, we will have music going and will be making the tables available to all the talented DJs out there who want to play. DJs: It's first come first served, we'll have a sign-in timeslot sheet by the DJ stand for you to pick your time to play. Timeslots will be 30-60 minutes each depending on how many DJs are waiting to play. DJs of any style electronic music or hip hop are welcome. Please RESPECT the equipment and your fellow DJs. You must bring your own needles to use during your set.
Paintball directions will be available at Space Invaders III and through our info lines on Sunday morning. You can come to watch the paintball and DJs even if you're not playing, although you still must bring your paintball ticket to get in. We'll also have a barbeque going with burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, & drinks, so come kick it!
OPEN PLAY: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
You can stay and play for as long as you want. The paintball field we've partnered up with will provide everything you need to start, you can buy extra paintballs & CO2 from them later if you run out. Wear clothes that are okay to get dirty or stained.
TEAM TOURNAMENT: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Teams must be 10 people each, with a minimum of 3 people from each sex per team. Team sign up will be at 6:00 PM, we have space for 16 teams max. The object of the games will be to eliminate all members of the opposing team. Opponents will be chosen at random in the first round and we will progress up the ladder from there. We'll be playing a single elimination format (if your team loses a game it's out). There will be trophies for the winning team!
